THIS PRIVACY POLICY RELATES TO THE NORDIC STUDY ABROAD COMMUNITY (“NSAC”)

When registering and or applying for membership and or any event with the Nordic Study Abroad Community (“Registering”), you acknowledge and accept that all data and documents (“Material”) uploaded to the NSAC website  is collected, processed and stored with NSAC in accordance with the rules and regulations of the European Union.

When registering with NSAC, you acknowledge and accept that all Material uploaded to the NSAC website or in any way shared with NSAC and or team-members of NSAC, can be used by NSAC internally, i.e., within the NSAC-organization, and externally, i.e., with third parties and the public, in any way deemed lawful under the rules and regulations of the European Union. This includes, but is not limited to: statistical analysis and use of depersonalized Material for marketing-material.

Registering with NSAC, as above, includes, but is not limited to, signing up for a membership via our membership portal, signing up for our products (for example Buddy Connect), or registering for an event (for example a workshop or conference).

THIRD-PARTY TRANSFERS

For the purpose of ensuring successful collaborations between NSAC and third parties, when Registering, you acknowledge and accept that NSAC can at any time, and in any way deemed necessary, share or transfer material with third parties.

NSAC will only transfer Material to reputable third parties.

When Registering with NSAC, you furthermore acknowledge and accept that these reputable third parties may contact you via ways of communication shared with NSAC for the purpose of offering you relevant opportunities, including but not limited to: student intern positions, graduate positions and events hosted by the third party in question.

 

MARKETING

When attending an event hosted by or in collaboration with NSAC, you acknowledge and accept that NSAC may take pictures and video of you during the event. You hereby also acknowledge and accept that these picture(s) and or video(s) can be used for marketing-material as well as uploaded on social-media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, etc.

This consent can at all times be called back.

 

CROSS-BORDER TRANSFER OF PERSONAL DATA

By registering with NSAC, you acknowledge and accept that NSAC may transfer personal data to a third country, i.e. a country outside the EEA. NSAC will be required to ensure that such transfer is at all times lawful under the rules and regulations of the European Union. Data transferred to a third country can be processed and stored in any way as specified under this privacy policy.
