Time for Decisions!
Harvard, Yale, Oxford, Cambridge, or…? Where do you want to go?
As you already know, the deadline draws near. It’s decision time for the US and UK universities. The application process is over, and you may already be fortunate enough to have received an offer, or even several. Now it is up to you.
If you have completed SAT’s, TOEFL’s and sent your applications- congratulations on having made it thus far. If you’re thinking about applying next year - worry not!
A river of thoughts has been flowing through the heads of so many of you aspiring or coming abroad students about this big journey:
What should you look for? What should you take into account? Which place will be the just the right one for you? This goes for both the student life, courses, professors, and subjects. The easiest way to figure out if a college is right for you is to visit the campus. One can browse the Internet for weeks and still don't get an accurate picture of what it's like to be living there. Schedule a tour, visit some classes, and talk to the people there, and you will have a good feeling about whether or not this is the place for you.
Rest assured that wherever you end up going, your experience will be very, very exciting. You will get new friends from around the world, and remember that you can always reach out to your old ones back home! Studying abroad does not equal cutting your ties, so make the most out of both your old and your new “home”. No matter where you choose to go: Follow your passion, it will change your life and shape you as a person. It’s time to make your choice.
We wish all of you the very best of luck and a thrilling adventure!
